Actioneer has two versions of its new Invisible Password Manager available for free download.
Both Desktop and Portable versions of Actioneer PM are identical in their behavior and include a secure Vault for storing and managing your Web user names and passwords needed for accessing password-protected Web sites.

System requirements: Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista. Default browser must be set to Microsoft IE version 6.0 or later. (Note: you can still employ any other browser you like, while default is set to IE.)

Actioneer PM for Windows Version 5.1.0.4
Actioneer PM installs on desktop and laptop PC as a traditional software, using Windows Installer.

Actioneer Portable for Windows Version 5.1.0.4
Actioneer Portable doesn't need an Installer. It is intended to be placed on USB Flash drive, to take up only temporary residence in the computer when the Flash drive is plugged into a USB port. When Actioneer Portable exits and the Flash drive is pulled out, no trace of Actioneer remains in the computer.
The self-extracting EXE file for the Portable version prompts you to specify the location to place the Actioneer Portable folder. Normally, you specify the Flash drive you have plugged in, either by naming the drive or by browsing to it. The self-extractor then places the Actioneer Portable folder on the drive.

Can’t Download MSI or EXE Files?
Sometimes, Internet security settings or firewalls may prevent downloading files in the MSI and EXE formats. If this is the case, please download the Actioneer installation file as a ZIP archive. For the Desktop version, unzip the archive to a temporary location and run the included MSI file. For the Portable version, unzip the archive to the specified Flash drive.

Keeping Desktop and Portable Data in Synch
The Desktop and Portable versions are completely independent, and do not synchronize their Personal Data. If you use both versions, to keep data in synch, you need to copy the contents of Personal Data folder (default location:
C:\Program Files\Actioneer\Actioneer\Personal Data) from your local disk drive to your portable drive (FlashDriveLetter\Actioneer\Personal Data) or vice versa. As you make changes in the future, similar copying operations will keep your Flash drive and PC synched and up to date.
